We took our Warmblood mare to the UQ Equine Hospital yesterday for assistance with a hoof problem and could not have been happier with our experience. We had clear directions to the facility which were easy to follow. We were warmly welcomed by barn assistant, Georgie, who assisted us with unloading and stabling the mare. We were promptly seen by veterinarian, Ben Ahern, who assessed the mare, did multiple radiographs of her hooves, presented a plan for treatment then passed her on to master farrier, Craig Johns, to perform the required work on her hooves. Not only did they all provide an excellent service but the charges were far less than we were expecting.
